Sustainability

Sustainability is for KKT not just a modern keyword. It is not just the discussion on the ecological balance of glass versus PET.

With the support of the Plastic Industry Association this issue is now finally moving in the right and verifiable direction; namely that Monolayer PET is more ecological than first assumed by the press.

Besides, sustainability must not be reduced to the calculation of the Carbon Foot Print, especially since the various calculation types leave more questions than answers.  

Real sustainability must be lived – it’s the target and the way to it at the same time. Real sustainability guarantees the preservation of our ecological and social system for the next generation by our responsible actions.

KKT stands for sustainability. We have been certified since 1999 according to the environmental management directions ISO 14001 but we also define ourselves through our responsibility:

• reduction of energy consumption
• conservation of resources
• the use of renewable energies
• innovative products
